I am a big fan of Asiana Airlines. Their prices are lower than Korean Air or Singapore Airlines, but the experience in economy class is great. During my last visit to Seoul, I had a chance to visit their lounge at Incheon International Airport, so I decided to write a small review.
The lounge is very spacious, and the staff is doing a great job keeping it clean. In general, it is a good place to relax before your long flight.
Unfortunately, the food selection is, in my opinion, a little bit disappointing.
I just visited Seoul where I had food lovers dream experience. Fresh fruits, milk shakes, milk ice creams, bibimbap, kimbap, Korean bbq...it's just a never ending list of delicious foods.
Unfortunately, the food selection at the lounge doesn’t do a great name to the amazing Korean cuisine. A little bit of salad, croissant 🥐, and toast with some butter and marmalade with a can of Coca-Cola or Sprite. The famous cup noodles and kimchi rice just didn't make it up for me 😐
For the city with such a strong potential for food tourism, it's hard to understand why Asiana's flagship facility has such a underwhelming selection of dishes.
So to wrap it up. It is an excellent place to relax and do some work. The first impression was positive. However, I wouldn't go to the airport earlier because of the experience. Rather do your check-in in the city center and enjoy some more lovely time in Seoul.
